Linux command line reference at your fingertips

555 sq inches of the most useful commands, arguments, and examples including Kubernetes

Knowledge is Power

As someone who works every day with Linux and the CLI, I understand how powerful the terminal can be. But that power is locked up behind a bright blinking cursor. No GUI to guide you, no helpful pop-ups or hover-text. Simply put: you have to know the commands and how to use them before you can do anything useful.

I set out to make reference tools that I would actually use. Leaning on my nearly 20 years of experience, and in collaboration with fellow Linux users, I curated essential commands, shortcuts, and tips. Every command and argument is hand selected. Newer Linux users will find all their most needed basics with helpful and less obvious arguments. Experienced users will delight at the oneliners and advanced usage, with significant care given to systemd, docker, and kubernetes.

I am committed to making the world of Linux more approachable, comprehensible, and inclusive for all who fire up a terminal.
